Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the main difficulties faced by people with disabilities in the workplace. First, the concept of disability was contextualized, followed by an analysis of what an organization is, through bibliographical research, showing the difficulties and achievements of people with disabilities throughout history and, consequently, their place in the workplace. In order to identify the main difficulties faced by people with disabilities, a field survey was conducted using a questionnaire in some private companies in the city of Garça. It was evident that there is still much to be done so that people with disabilities can develop their work in good conditions and free from any doubts about their real capabilities.
