This study presents and analyzes the academic experiences of four students with disabilities in technological higher education. Thus, the objective of this work is to identify and describe the academic experiences of students with disabilities in higher education and their perceptions during this period. To this end, information was collected through semi-structured interviews, and the data were examined using thematic analysis. The research question guiding the study is: What has been the academic trajectory of students with disabilities in higher education, and what are their future perspectives/expectations regarding the job market? The results generally indicate that their experiences were positive, with only occasional difficulties. No issues were reported that hindered their admission to the courses, and all highlighted that they had some form of human resource support during their academic trajectory. These and other aspects were evidenced as crucial for their development, as was the importance of the experiences and knowledge acquired at this stage for their career direction. It is concluded that, for these students, entering higher education was a differentiating factor in their lives, associated with feelings of happiness and achievement. Among other factors, it is noted that the support from the institution and its staff was fundamental in fostering the students' sense of belonging, acceptance, and inclusion.
