Abstract

This study examines the accessibility of institutional portals of the Colleges of Technology (FATECs) in the Campinas and Sorocaba regions, highlighting the importance of digital inclusion for people with disabilities. Using the Lighthouse tool and the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1 guidelines, the research evaluates aspects such as operability, comprehensibility, and title hierarchy on the FATECs websites. The results indicate that many portals have common flaws, such as the absence of descriptions in images and links, as well as inadequate color contrasts. The analysis reveals that, although there are simple solutions for these issues, digital accessibility is still not adequately considered by developers, compromising user experience and access to information. It is concluded that significant improvements are necessary in the accessibility of FATECs portals to ensure equity in access to educational services. The references cited in the study reinforce the urgency of improving the compliance of Brazilian websites with accessibility standards.
